The New Constellations tour kicked off yesterday, November 23rd, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. It will be landing in Canadian cities and in Indigenous communities across Canada. It will feature both Canadian and Indigenous musicians and poets performing together on-stage. And some of the lucky locations will have the opportunity to attend community workshops and mentorships with the performers. That’s pretty cool!
I’ve been invited to share some of my poetry at the Ottawa tour stop on December 9th. Tickets are $25 and attendees who have the extra dough are invited to buy extra tickets for those who can’t afford it. Pay it forward type deal. So, if you’re free and have some extra dough, I’m sure it will be an event that will leave you some great memories and be inspired to create and write. I hope to see you there!
